 As seen in The Barrel this month I'm giving stuff away from my own etsy shop!  Yeah, I'm a nerd.  But hey, you can win two crochet patterns.  And they're AWESOME.  'cause I'm AWESOME.  Oh yea.

The winner will get to pick which two patterns they want from my MissyB etsy shop.





All giveaways associated with The Barrel end on March 15th at 11:59 PM MT.

Here's how to enter:

1- For ONE entry: visit my MissyB etsy shop then leave a comment on this post about which is your favorite product.

2- For another ONE entry you can "heart" my MissyB etsy shop (Leave a separate comment telling me that you "hearted" me.)

3- For ONE more entry you can subscribe to The Barrel. (Leave me a separate comment letting me know you subscribed.)

4- And for TWO extra entries you can blog about this giveaway, but you must also mention The Barrel in your post.  (Leave two separate comments with a link to your post.)

These are darling. I can't crochet, I do like to knit- but it is NOTHING like what you do! I'd probably give this to my friend who does some pretty great stuff and have her make it for me-or I'd buck up and learn to crochet!

I love, love, LOVE your patterns. Just happened upon this site yesterday. Woot! I think my favorites would have to be... um, er... okay... my two faves are "Carlotta Crochet Dress" and the "Millie Ann" one. Darling!!

hair loss and mourning

I like Monkey's hair long.  I tried to grow out Opie's hair when he was younger, but he has always had a tremendously large head, and he also has very thick wavy hair.  You pair those two together, throw in some long locks, and you've got yourself a genuinely bonified giant-head child.  So I've learned my lesson: keep Opie's hair short. These are the coolest plants.  EVER.  They're low maintenance and look mega-awesome.  I'm totally getting one for myself....as soon as I decide which ONE it is that I love.  (Seeing as they're all uber-mega-awesome, I'm having a hard time deciding on a favorite.) GIVEAWAY (of the photo Christmas card variety)

I think I just creeped out my four year old. I pulled out the, "You'd better go to bed because Santa's Elves are watching you to make sure you're being good!" routine. His eyes got big, and round, and scared. And he said, "Why would they do that?!" Also, our church building burned down yesterday. No wait, it didn't. But the alarm went off, and the entire ward just sat there in the chapel (and gym, because we have an enormous ward.) I sat there too. I don't know what everyone else was thinking, but the thought going through my head was, "Can somebody please get that alarm turned off, it is WAY TOO LOUD!!!!" Seriously, I think our ward is now 37% deafer after that. Oh, and there was no actual fire. And the first fire truck to show up was driven by one of our ward members who was on duty that day.
