looky looky!!

I gave myself a blog makeover.

Because it was time.

So what do you think?  (Is my sidebar confusing?  Because it kind of confuses me.  But I'm used to looking at the old one, so it could just be a matter of perspective?)

In other news:

Number Four has RSV.

Actual, diagnosed, the real thing, RSV.

You know how I mentioned the kids were sick and how grateful I was for modern medicine?  Yeah, well, that was all RSV.  It's just that Number Four has decided NOT to get over it.

We had to take her back to the ER again last night.  Because paying ER bills is the number one thing on my "I SO MUCH LOVE TO PAY" list.  But when your toddler is struggling to breath you really don't question it.

And now we know: RSV.

Yay.

Hi! I've been blog stalking you for a couple of months, and I had to comment to ask: What the heck is RSV? I could google it, but I'm a bit of a hypochondriac, and I don't want to get onto a website that will give me ideas...

Oh man! I'm so sorry about the RSV thing. We went through that once too and it was so hard. Our 4 year old twins had it at the same time and shared a hospital room for 4 days. Of course, they always have to do everything together!

Side note: So excited you're going to CBC! I'll be there too. Lots of good stuff is planned, it's going to be awesome!

Love the new look... and I too, HATE RSV. My littlest had it and it was totally miserable. Hope it's short lived from here on out!

I like the new layout. I know what you mean, it is always a little weird when you first change it. But it seriously looks great.
Were did you get the template from?

Hope number 4 gets better soon!
nope, not confused at all.

missOlea: RSV stands for Respiratory Syncytial Virus. It's basically a really long really bad respiratory virus. My baby has reactive airway disease, which makes things especially ugly.

Cynthia: I'll see you at CBC! WHOOOOOO!!!

Emmy: No template, I made it!! (am now sticking gold star to own forehead.)

The makeover is great. If you ever got bored and wanted to do one for me. . .

RSV stinks. Stinks, stinks, stinks. We had it last winter. I am so sorry. I hope she gets over it soon.

GIVEAWAY (of the photo Christmas card variety)

I think I just creeped out my four year old. I pulled out the, "You'd better go to bed because Santa's Elves are watching you to make sure you're being good!" routine. His eyes got big, and round, and scared. And he said, "Why would they do that?!" Also, our church building burned down yesterday. No wait, it didn't. But the alarm went off, and the entire ward just sat there in the chapel (and gym, because we have an enormous ward.) I sat there too. I don't know what everyone else was thinking, but the thought going through my head was, "Can somebody please get that alarm turned off, it is WAY TOO LOUD!!!!" Seriously, I think our ward is now 37% deafer after that. Oh, and there was no actual fire. And the first fire truck to show up was driven by one of our ward members who was on duty that day. Good times. And now, that GIVEAWAY: For procrastinators everywhere (that would include me) I'm giving away one free photo Christmas card d

little pieces of my heart will be for sale at D.I.

I have this thing about my kids clothes. The thing is, I LIKE BUYING THEM CLOTHES. I get in trouble frequently for this. It's just that the old ones get so boring after awhile. And I hate it when the really cheap clothes look like poop after washing them a couple of times. Luckily, I live in a city that has outlet stores. I love outlet stores (and Ebay!) Alot of the time you can find higher quality clothes for Walmart prices so how could I NOT buy them? It would be like wasting money for me NOT to get a couple $4 shirts at OshKosh. Right? RIGHT?!! The problem is - we have tiny closets. Miniature, puny, ridiculous, TINY closets. The other problem is - I have saved EVERYTHING. Not only are the kids' closets chuck full of stuff, but we have multiple rubbermaid bins in our garage full of baby clothes they've all grown out of. Also, we may not be having any more children. And I say "may not" because if I say "for sure not" someone will have to co

If you win this giveaway you get to choose the bracelet or keychain out of SNIS's etsy shop (and they have a bunch to choose from): All giveaways associated with The Barrel end on March 15th at 11:59 PM MT.
